‘Hook’ eyes 2023 Fajr festival

Iranian film ‘Hook’ plans to attend the 2023 edition of Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.

‘Hook’ is in the post-production stage, but an initial version of the film was submitted to the selection committee for the 41st edition of Fajr.

‘Hook’ is starring Amir Jafari and Amir-Mehdi Jule and written by Mehdi-Torab Beigi.

The film’s director Hossein Rigi told the media that the film is about a young man who is thinking about change and becoming a hero.

The Fajr Film Festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 41st edition of the festival, headed by Mojtaba Amini, will take place on February 1-10.
